The age and authenticity of each sculpture was certified by experts in the field after they were excavated from underground in Afghanistan. These pieces are suited for a museum. The figures are believed to represent creatures from the stories told by the ancient people that created them. It is said that these people believed that figures like these would show up in the night to punish anyone who was not being a good person. It is believed that ancient people would buy these statues and place them in their house to remind themselves and their family to always be good people.
