Details: Origin: Afghanistan Age: 20-30 Years Old Dimensions: 2.8′ x 3.8′ (approximate) Description: This wool Baluchi rug was hand woven in a village in Afghanistan, and was used as a table cloth, for table decoration, for hanging on the wall, and for sofrah . It has red, yellow, white, blue and green colors that are nearly 5,000 years old and represent good luck, prosperity, clarity, love, and exotic energy. The rug’s symbols have been used for 5,000 years and represent the four directions of the universe, as well as the four elements of life: fire, wind, earth and water. The rug is in very good condition and has another 50 or 60 years left of usable life.
