Details: Origin: Border of Iran and Afghanistan Age: Circa 1940 to 1950 Dimensions: 24″ x 72″ (approximate) Description: This one-of-a-kind hand woven Afghan Kilim rug was created by a Kasakh villager using embroidery and needle-work on the top. This rugs was woven flat, and then the designs were embroidered on the top by hand. This rug contains symbols of birds , which represent freedom, as well as stars , which represent good luck.
