Details: Origin: Afghanistan Age: Circa 1900 Dimensions: 40 ” Length Description: This Ancient Lapis Lazuli Egg & Fang Necklace features a solid lapis lazuli egg that represents fertility, femininity, and good luck. The solid lapis lazuli fang represents power and is said to provide safety and good luck. The necklace also contains smaller silver and lapis beads, all hand-made. This necklace was custom ordered by someone and given to the bride as a dowry gift . The lapis lazuli used in this necklace contains white traces of calcite, which signifies that the artist who made it desired its wearer to remain humble and earthy. This necklace contains approximately 250 grams of Lapis Lazuli .
