Details: Origin: Bessarabia Age: Kilim is over 100 years old; pillow was made recently Dimensions: 15″ squared Description: This Kilim originally came from an area known as Bessarabia, which was near the Baltic sea in Eastern Europe. As a Kilim gets used and becomes antique or vintage, sections of it will often become torn or damaged. Instead of throwing away the whole Kilim, the good sections can be cut out and made into pillows. The front of the pillow is made from an all natural-dye Kilim, while the rear of the pillow is cotton or velvet. A built-in zipper allows the cover to be removed and washed.
